FIELD: steelmaking. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for firing coiled stocks of cold-rolled strip steel. Convector ring contains bearing disk with axial hole and radial strings forming circulation canals. Peripheral part of the bearing disk with width equal to 0.10-0.15 outside diameter of convector ring is conical and conjugated with flat part of the ring. When heated, outside lap of the coil freely expands within width of gap formed by conical part of the ring. Angle near the base of cone may be 2-4 deg. EFFECT: eliminated welding of roll laps and appearance of break in recoiled strip. 2 cl, 1 dwg
