PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade a decline in a visual angle property, to reduce luminance unevenness in a light source due to light shield and to suppress reduction in light quantity to a liquid crystal panel by providing a light shield filter between the liquid crystal panel and the light source so as to correct the luminance unevenness of light outgoing from the light source by the light shield by reflection. SOLUTION: The light shield filter 3 is constituted so that a light shield pattern 3a consisting of a metallic reflection film with a high reflectance of light such as aluminum, tantalum, etc., is formed on a translucent substrate 3b such as glass, etc. This light shield filter 3 may lie between the light source 1 and the liquid crystal panel 5 basically. Then, this light shield filter 3 is constituted so that an area of a central part is formed in a circle, and this area is made so that the density of the metallic reflection film in the light shield pattern 3a becomes highest, and a light shield amount becomes largest, and the area existing on its outside is formed annularly, and is divided so that the density of the metallic reflection film of the light shield pattern 3a is changed according to distribution of luminance, and the light shield amount is successively lowered from the central part toward the radial direction also. |
