[Class 44] In a completely separable sliding - clasp fastener, the stringers are furnished with diecast pieces 50, 50a, which are pressed over the stringer bead and a socket is formed on one stringer. by pressing a further die-cast piece 47, over the piece 50a. The piece 50 has a projection 51 which enters a recess in the piece 50a. The inner surface of both pieces is roughened as at 56, and is formed with projections 57 which interlock with gaps 62 out in stiffening plates 59, which are fixed upon the stringers before the pieces 50, 50a are applied. |
