The compositions exhibit intense fluorescence in the visible wavelength range on exposure to UV light and thus permit simple monitoring of the treated skin or mucous membrane surfaces for ensuring complete disinfection, but without exhibiting the disadvantages associated with the use of conventional dyes, such a s discoloration of the skin and articles. |
