PURPOSE:To effectively stop a motor by supplying currents of reverse directions to two coils even when the rotor of a motor in which a stator is formed of three coils and the rotor is formed of even number of permanent magnets is disposed at a position where no driving force is applied. CONSTITUTION:The position signals of the magnets of the rotor detected by a Hall element 1 are input to power transistor switching signal forming units 2 and 3 at the time of rotating or stopping. A switch SW1 is closed at the time of rotating, transistors Tr1-Tr6 are controlled by a distribution amplifier 3 to excite coils (u)-(w). The SW1 is opened at the time of stopping, a SW2 is closed, and a signal responsive to the position of the rotor is sent to the amplifier 3. For example, when a driving force is not applied to rotor by the coil (u), equal currents of reverse directions flow to the coils (v), (w). When the force is not applied to the the rotor by the coil (u), the current of reverse direction having half amplitude of the current of the coil (u) flows to the coils (v), (w). Thus, even if the rotor is rotated at a low speed, it can prevent the rotor from hunting to be effectively stopped. |
