<p>PURPOSE:To perform integration and to reduce an error in deviation from Dolby (registered trandemark) standard encoding and decoding characteristics, by biasing the forward voltage of a germanium diode by an equal voltage through a biasing circuit wherein the diode of a rectifier and smoothing circuit is constituted in an IC between its anode and cathode. CONSTITUTION:A side chain ls is composed of a variable filter 12a, a signal amplifier 13, a control amplifier 14, and a rectifying and smoothing circuit 15 which includes diodes D1 and D2. The terminal voltage of the diode D1 is set to a voltage (about 0.3V) lower than its forward voltage through a biasing circuit 20. As a result, a large current flows from the anode and cathode of the 1st diode D1 of said rectifying and smoothing circuit 15 to prevent the rectifying characteristics of the circuit 15 from deviating from prescribed characteristics greatly.</p> |
