By pumping a fresh charge through the housing of the crankshaft chassis (1) the two stroke motor features a system of flushing the cylinder (5) by separate intakes of fresh air and powerful fuel-air mixture. To prepare the mixture and to control the power of the motor, there is a two-stroke carburettor (21) featuring a venturi (19, 20) of oval cross-section, controlled by a step slide (22). The motor sucks the air through the suction channel (12) via grooves (13) in the piston (4) into air flow channels (9, 10), while the fuel-air mixture is sucked under the piston (4). Flushing by air is controlled by a symmetrical piston (4) which opens the exhaust channel (8) and air flow channels (9, 10). The control of the intake of the air-fuel mixture through the mixture flow channel (15) is asymmetrical with the help of the segment pieces of the throttle valve (16) on the upper end of the shaft (3), opening the mixture (17) channels in the piston (17). The output of fresh charge into the exhaust is limited most of all to fresh air, while the emission of non-burnt hydrocarbons and the specific fuel consumption are considerably lower. The construction concept has not become significantly more complex, while the outer dimensions remain compact.
|
