The invention refers to a helical coupler designed to convert the rotating motion of a lineshaft into the linear motion of an exterior body, used especially to manufacture industrial robots and feeding mechanisms for machine tools, equipment, etc. The helical coupler is equipped with a stationary bushing (2) that is coaxial with a smooth central shaft (5) and is connected to a feather key (3), which is guided in a longitudinal channel (b) made in a cylindrical body (1). Elongated cylindrical rollers (4), whose axes are inclined against the axis of the central shaft (5) that they are in point contact with, are interposed in between the central shaft (5) and the stationary bushing (2). The spherical ends (c) of the cylindrical rollers (4) rest onto axial bearings (6) that are mounted in the covers (7 and 8). The cover (8) can be displaced axially by adjusting screws (10), thus changing the inclination angle (α) of the cylindrical rollers (4) and, as a result, changing the load capacity of the coupler.
