PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a proper dot group with a small operation quantity by generating a dot group on a curved surface and projecting dots of the dot group on all small areas in an area on a plane where the curved surface is projected. SOLUTION: A parameter calculation part 30 determines parameters of a dot group so that a projection point corresponds to a pixel included partially in an area obtained when a three-dimensional curved surface is projected on an xy plane, and outputs the parameters to a curved surface coordinate calculation part 32. A curved surface supply part 31 generates an expression showing the three-dimensional curved surface from an outline extracted from an image and outputs it to a curved surface coordinate calculation part 32, a projection area calculation part 33, and a pixel value calculation part 38. The pixel value calculation part 38 calculates the pixel value in pixel coordinates calculated by a pixel coordinate calculation part 37 and a write judgement 39 writes the pixel value in a pixel memory 40 by referring to the pixel value restored in an image memory 40 when >=2 points on the three-dimensional curved surface are projected on one pixel. |
