PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity and the quality of collection of cargo in containers by continuously picking articles from a picking unit, as well as by shortening the duration during which containers are stationary at an article throwing-in location for a container transportation line. SOLUTION: In an article picking method, a temporary taking-in box storage line 20A is provided between a picking unit 10A and a container transportation line 30, a temporary taking-in box 11 for the same store which is storage in the storage line 20A is subjected to a store collation at a store collation location 41, a container 12 for the same store is collated with the temporary taking-in box 11, and the articles in the temporary taking-in box 11 are thrown into the container 12 together with the temporary taking-in box 11 or with the articles being taken out from the temporary taking-in box. |
