PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably improve the utilization value and utilization effect of a Latin square by surely and easily preparing all the Latin squares by regularly preparing the Latin square of desired degrees and symbols. SOLUTION: Degrees (n) and symbols (m) of a Latin square R to be prepared are set and when successively selecting and determining the symbols (m) as arrangement elements EIJ at respective positions KIJ in the Latin square R, it is successively performed along rows I or columns J. At the same time, the Latin square R is prepared by selecting the symbols (m) in the order of selection so as not to arrange the same symbol (m) as the preceding positions KIJ on the same row I and the same column J, the Latin square R can be regularly prepared and all the Latin squares can be surely and easily prepared.
