The massaging device has a frame supporting allowing rotation, and upper and lower shaft with parallel and horizontal axes and eccentric parts (4 to 7). Two arms (8 and 9) each support a massage wheel on one end and on the other end an eccentric part of the upper shaft. At an intermediate region is a connection to an eccentric part of the lower shaft. A mechanism is provided for rotating the shafts about their axes for an alternating movement of the wheels in the horizontal direction and vertical direction. An actuator has an upper gear motor actuating the upper shaft and a lower gear motor for the lower shaft. The upper and lower gear motors use an electric motor and reduction unit with a worm screw connected to the shaft of the motor and a helical gear meshing with the screw and keyed to an intermediate part of the upper shaft and one of the lower shaft.
