<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace such as a melting furnace for burning ash having a discharged gas extraction outlet in which gasification low boiling point substances contained in the discharged gas are prevented from being condensed and solidified to close the discharged gas extraction port. SOLUTION: In this ash melting furnace, a sludge outlet port is applied as a discharged gas extraction port. An blowing-in pipe 1 is arranged near the discharged gas extraction port so as to blow combustion air 7 for burning unburnt components in the discharged gas and generating gas of high temperature. With such an arrangement as above, a temperature of the discharged gas is kept high, low boiling point gasification components such as NaCl or KCl or the like are prevented from being solidified to close the discharged gas extraction port.</p> |
