PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject lubricating oil capable of realizing a durable lubricating system without lowering the rotation of a ball bearing type air turbine hand piece by adopting a nondrying oil in 'vegetable oils and fats. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil comprises a nondrying oil in vegetable oils and fats and is applied to a bearing part in a high-speed cutter (an air turbine hand piece) for medical and dental use. The nondrying oil is preferably composed of >=60wt.% content of monovalent unsaturated fatty acids and >=30wt.% content of a polyvalent (bi or a higher valent) unsaturated fatty acids. For example, olive oil is preferred. Thereby, the lubricating oil synthetically excellent in aspects of biological safety, environmental protection properties, heat resistance and bearing durability can be expected. |
