An image song accompaniment system(karaoke system) is disclosed. The image song accompaniment system having a first memory(10) for storing a MIDI standard of accompaniment information; a second memory(12) for storing a song text; an accompaniment signal generator(24) for generating an accompaniment signal based on the accompaniment information; a text signal generator for generating an image signal based on the text information; and a controller(32) for controlling the operation of the accompaniment signal replay and the song generation, further includes a level setting unit(34) for setting a sound level.
