The control device consists of a frame formed with two horizontal bars, upper (1a) and lower (1b), with pairs of vertical uprights (2, 3) fitted between them. The verticals define the access for the head of the cow, for access to the feed. The access control is fitted between the two uprights. In one of the lower corners of the defined access is fitted a support frame (12), which is fitted to the lower horizontal and one of the uprights. The support frame carries the pivot point for the access arm (13), which is pivoted to allow or prevent the animal from gaining access to the food. The device which controls the position and locking in place of the access arm is activated by magnetic means.
