The carrier recovering apparatus through a use of a frequency and phase locked synchronization loop comprises a tuning unit for selecting and outputting one out of a multiple number of modulated carriers; an oscillating unit for generating sine wave signal in response to a loop control signal inputted; and a frequency and phase controlling unit for maintaining a phase and frequency relation determined between the sine wave signal of the oscillating unit and the modulated carrier wave selected and modulated in the tuning unit, the frequency and phase controlling unit being based actually on only one phase synchronization point so that the recovered information has one polarity, and providing the oscillating unit with the output signal as the loop control signal.
