The door installation has a first door sub-panel (3) pivoted about a stationary rotary axis (9,10) and the second door sub-panel (4) is pushably located along the door plane. The drive force of a drive (11) which is arranged laterally near the door opening and the rotary axis, is transmitted to the rotary axis. The rotary axis in the area of its upper end is provided with a device (14,15) for receipt of the drive force of the adjacently arranged drive, e.g. an electric motor. The device comprises a first wheel (14) connected with the drive shaft (12) of the drive and a second wheel (15) connected with the rotary axis. Both wheels are effectively connected to one another and are formed e.g. as gearwheels.
