PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road information display system capable of appropriately remote-controlling from a road administrative office the content of a road information display board installed at road sides in mountains and the like far from a village. SOLUTION: A main road information controller 20 for administrating road information for users of roads is installed at a road information administrative office, and a road information display board 30 is set at a predetermined place by roads for displaying road information. A satellite communication network 40 is interposed between the main road information controller 20 and the road information display board 30, thereby remote-controlling road information displayed on the road information display board 30 from the main road information controller 20 provided at the road information administrative office.
