METHOD OF PREPARING BOEHMITE AND ALUMINA

摘要

A boehmite is produced by reacting aluminum sulfuric acid with aqueous formamide solution through hydrothermal homogeneous precipitation under in a coordinated state as over pH4 after adding an alkali aqueous solution. The produced boehmite is sintered for 2-5 hours under 1100-1400 deg C to produce a spherical a-Al2O3 particle with below 0.3-0.5um diameter in a high purity.
