PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release the fixed state of a driving device without being large-sized by a method wherein the releasing device which is composed of an external- force application means for releasing is constituted in the driving device. SOLUTION: When a start key at an operating part 100 is pressed, a CPU 200 instructs a control circuit 300 to turn a vibration motor 500. Then, an encoder signal from an encoder 600 is discriminated by a fixing discrimination means. When the encoder signal is input, the vibration motor 500 is started, and the vibration motor 500 is not started with the encoder signal is not input. That is to say, the motor 500 is set at a fixed state. Then, a drive changeover solenoid 808 (an external-force application means) is driven, and the transmission destination of the driving force of a fixing motor 806 is changed over to the driving system of a photosensitive drum. Then, the fixing motor 806 is started, and an external force is applied, from the side of the driving system of the photosensitive drum, to a rotor which is fixed and bonded to a vibrating body inside the vibration motor 500. By the external force, the rotor is turned forcibly, and the fixed state is released. |
