METHOD FOR GENERATING ATM USER CELL RATE MESSAGE OF BROADBAND ATM

A message generating method for the subscriber cell rate in the asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) whereby the character of the traffic parameter and control is defined in the Q.93B protocol. The method comprising the steps of : (a) storing the information identification bite of the cell rate message, the address of the coding standard and information instruction; (b) generating the valid combined forward traffic parameter subarea information depending on the forward permission combination code; (c) generating the valid combined reverse traffic parameter subarea information depending on the reverse permission combination code; (d) generating the 8 bit octet and storing and granting the address of the ATM subscriber cell rate message; and (e) outputting the address and length of the ATM subscriber cell rate message.
