PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multi-function peripheral equipment in which data is pointed at a high speed in the print priority mode without giving hindrance to reception print processing of facsimile data. SOLUTION: A time of 9μs is set to a busy timer (S4) in the case of print priority mode (S1: Yes) or when facsimile data are not received (S2: No) and a high output time of a busy signal is set short. Then an input interval of print data is set short and an input amount of print data per unit time is increased and the print data are printed at a high speed. In the case of non-print priority mode and when facsimile data are received (S2: Yes), a time of 400μs is set to the busy timer (S3) to extend the high output time of the busy signal. Then the input interval of print data is set long and the execution time of reception print processing of the facsimile data per unit time is increased and the reception and print of facsimile data are conducted smoothly.
