PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle speed operation control device which can satisfy responsiveness and reliability for zero judgement required by respective means where information on vehicle speeds is required, and can use a common vehicle speed sensor. CONSTITUTION: In a judgement reference term decision means 52, a judgement reference term TN for zero judgement is determined based on an actual vehicle speed VSP2 , and when it is judged by a vehicle speed zero judgement means 54 that a vehicle speed V is zero based on a fact that no vehicle speed pulse signal SP2 has been inputted during the judgement reference term TN, a conversion vehicle speed signal SPDM is instantly led to a signal configuration indicating a zero vehicle speed by a signal conversion means 56. In a range where actual vehicle speeds VSP2 are high, since the judgement reference term TN is shortened in such a way that zero jedgement is quickly made, responsiveness required by a closed control means and the like is satisfied, and in a range where actual vehicle speeds VSP2 are low, since accuracy required by a navigation means and the like is satisfied, a common vehicle speed sensor can thereby be used. |
