Roads (1) with heavy traffic are provided on either side with wall-like units (2, 3) of various materials. The present invention relates to a new unit that can be prefabricated, is rectangular, consists of supporting panel (4) which is provided on one or both sides with a sound-reducing layer (5). Between the layer (5) and the supporting panel (4) is arranged either an air gap (26) or a sound-absorbing layer (12) or both. The supporting panels (4) may also have sound-reducing properties. |
