The cooking detecting circuit of the microwave oven includes the 1st and the 2nd thermopile sensor(11)(12) to sense the heat emitted from the food, a signal processors(21a)(21b) to amplify the signal received from the 1st and 2nd thermopile sensor and to compensate the temperature, an analog digital converters(22a)(22b) to convert the analog signal of the signal processors(21a)(21b) into the digital signal, a control part(23) to recognize the status of the food and to control the motor(15) and the magnetron(13) in accordance with the cooking method, a switching part(25), a high voltage circuit part(28) and a key board with which the cooking menus and methods can be selected.
