Water, water-soluble collagen and inorganic metal salt are added to solid foundation composition to increase stability of hydrophilic particle and particle of emulsion type. Consequently, solid foundation of water-in-oil emulsion type is prepared without causing perspiration phenomenon at high temperature and with good effect of make-up and feeling of use. The content of components in composition is 20.0-60.0 parts by weight for oil, 1.0-10 parts by weight for wax, 0.1-2.0 parts by weight for emulsifier(less than 8 of HLB), 30.0-70.0 parts by weight for figment, and 5.0-30.0 parts by weight for purified water(pH 5-7) on the basis of whole foundation composition. Also, 0.1-20.0 parts by weight of soluble collagen is used, and 0.1-3.0 parts by weight of inorganic metal salts such as sodium chloride, aluminium sulfate and magnesium sulfate is used in order to augment heat stability.
