The present invention pertains to an airbag coating (10) comprising a plastic inner part (12) with at least one flap fixed thereto which can be opened by a force acting upon the defined rupture line (29), and a plastic outer part (14) securely fastened to the inner part (12). The outer part (14) is of a much softer plastic material than the inner part (12). In order to direct the force needed to open at least one flap (16) along the set rupture line (20), a plurality of wires run on same. Theses wires (22) are bedded in the plastic material of the inner part (12) but are not coated with said plastic material in the rupture line area (20).
