Error correction in video image transmission

摘要

A method of transmitting image data in which the image data is partitioned into blocks and the blocks are subjected to orthogonal transformation. The image data is then compressed and combined with attribute data to allow the images to be decoded and a frame check code to produce a transmission frame. At the receiving side the frame check code is used to determine if a transmission error in the frame and the attribute data is extracted from a frame having no error to restore the image of the erroneous frame.
