PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which a pseudo metallic porous body to be made by fixing many fibrous metals vertically on a metal base material plate can be produced at high productivity and low cost while producing high quality products. SOLUTION: Metal resin composite fiber of short fiber type containing metal powder for a range of 30-85 weight % is produced by melt spinning method. This metal resin composite fiber 20 is spread or flocked on the metal base material plate 28. Adhesive is painted on the metal base material plate 28 before and after the process of spreading or flocking the metal resin composite fiber 20. While dissolving and removing the resin in the metal resin composite fiber 20 by baking the metal powder in the metal resin composite fiber 20 is combined each other by baking to make fiber type metal 70, and it is combined together on the metal base material plate 28.
