<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an applicator to retain powder well in carrying and transfer powder well in use, by providing a support body a part of which is covered by flock and composing the flock of a mixture of coating fiber and powder used. SOLUTION: This applicator is equipped with a central core 2 as the main member to function as a supporting body, to be made in various shapes with various dimensions, and to have the surface a part of which is to be a product applying area 6. The area 6 is made by frock forming of a mixture of a number of fiber 3 and powder 4. Powder particles 4 are deposited on the support body during the flocking. The major part of the powder particles 4 exist at the base parts of fiber on the support body and powder particles can attach along fiber up to the tip end of fiber. Fiber capable of promoting attaching powder, for instance nylon, rayon, polyamide, polyester fiber, etc., is preferable.</p> |
