PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately perform positioning by fitting a boss between leading ends of opposed driving shaft and driven shaft, and arranging a spacer fitted to a shaft, which has one end engaged with an end face of a base end, and the other end engaged with an end face of the boss. SOLUTION: In a motor 1, at the time of assembling, a first key 14 is fitted to a key groove 4 of a small diameter shaft part 3. A projected part of the key 14 is engaged with a key groove 13A of a first spacer 32 which is then fitted to the small diameter shaft part 3. The projected part of the key 14 is engaged with a key groove 13 of a driving side boss 9 which is is then fitted to the small diameter shaft part 3. One end 32A of the spacer 32 is engaged with an end face 2A of a driving side shaft part 2, while the other end 32B is engaged with an end face 9B of the driving side boss 9. Movement of the driving side boss 9 to the base end side is regulated, and a fixed position can accurately be set. Similarly in a rotational machine 1A, a fixed position of a driven side boss 10 can accurately be set. A shaft coupling 5 as a general item can easily be mounted on various kinds of shafts. |
