The system acquires the image as a number of data points representing the image and uses coding of images, or image sequences, along lines in the image to produce a set of transform vectors. The system provides adaptive processing of the image through configuration of various specialised computation modules. The modules includes an acquisition module (1), a transformation module (2), an inversion module (3), a processing module (4), an analysis module (5), an output module (6), a control module (7) and a command module (8). All these module are activated by an internal exchange mechanism or external processes (10).
