An electrolyte-free liquid washing agent with good odour removal

A liquid washing agent comprises (A) 10-60 parts weight (pts. wt.) nonionic surfactant; (B) 0-5 pts. wt. cationic surfactant; (C) 1-12 pts. wt. polycarboxylate of molecular weight above 5000; (D) 1-15 pts. wt. terpene; (E) at least 10 pts. wt. water; and optionally also (F) conventional additives. Preferably the composition comprises 25-55 pts. wt. (A), 1-3 pts. wt. (B), 4-10 pts. wt. (C), 4-10 pts. wt. (D) and 10-30 pts. wt. (E), with (F) being a complexer, phosphonate and/or solvent aid. (D) is an orange terpene, especially limonene, and (A) is a 10-18C fatty alcohol polyglycol ether with an ethoxylation degree of 3-12.
