<p>Siliceous oxides having a combination of low total volatiles content and basic pH are useful as odor control agents in organic resin systems, especially polyolefin-based systems. These modified siliceous oxides advantageously reduce odor and off-trade while minimizing discoloration of the resin. The adsorbents are especially useful for resin systems containing fatty acid amide slip aids.</p> |
