PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a gradient of a vehicle is provided to output an electric signal capable of judging a gradient, thereby improving the vehicle control. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring a gradient of a vehicle includes a housing(4) installed accurately at a level with a car body for containing a water tank filled with a predetermined amount of liquid(1) and having rollers(3) in the front and rear of the inner upper end surface; front and rear resistant substances(5) installed in the front and rear sides on the same line with the rollers in the longitudinal direction; front and rear rail guides(7) covering the front and rear resistant substances and having guide grooves in the inside; front and rear wiper contactors(10) having guide protrusions to be inserted into the guide grooves of the rail guides and metallic contacts each contacted with the resistant substances; and front and rear floating substances(13) floated in the surface of the liquid within the water tank for being connected with a bottom surface of the water tank and return springs(11) and being connected with wires(12) through the front and rear wiper contactors and rollers.
