PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus capable of regulating the moisture content of a grated Japanese radish and eliminating a massive material such as a terminal part of the Japanese radish. SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing a grated Japanese radish is obtained by installing graters 10a and 10b on the conveyance upstream side 1a of a conveying surface 3a of a conveying belt 3 having the conveying surface 3a tilted from the conveyance upstream side 1a upward toward the conveyance downstream side 2b of the conveying surface 3a thereof, providing a chopper device 31 containing a cutter blade unit and a cutter receiving blade unit therein on the conveyance downstream side 1b of the conveying belt 3 and further arranging a pressing unit 20, installed so as to be freely brought into contact with and separated from the conveying surface 3a of a conveyor body 2 and capable of regulating the moisture content of the resultant grated Japanese radish. The moisture content of the grated Japanese radish is regulated when passing the grated Japanese radish conveyed with the conveying surface 3a of the conveying belt 3 through a space between the pressing unit 20 and the conveying surface 3a, and the grated Japanese radish with the regulated moisture content is then pulverized with the cutter blade unit and the cutter receiving blade unit of the chopper device 31. |
