PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop color and decolorize only by a difference in heating conditions by forming a color developing image on a white ground by a method wherein an overcoat layer having electron beam curing resin or ultraviolet ray curing resin as a main component is arranged on a thermal recording layer of a reversible thermal recording material. SOLUTION: A thermal recording layer containing a colorless or pale color dye precursor and a developer expressed by the formula in one molecule (R1 represented a phenyl group substituted by a naphthyl group or a lower alkoxyl group, Y represents a bivalent group of -O-, NHSO2 -, -N=CH-, etc., and n represents an integer of 11-30.) is provided on a sheet-like base material, and an overcoat layer containing electron beam curing resin or ultraviolet ray curing resin as a main component is laminated thereon to form a reversible thermal recording material. As a concrete example of resin capable of being cured with electron beams or ultraviolet rays, there are acrylate compounds or the like of that in which alkylene oxide is added to alcohol of aliphatic group, aromatic aliphatic group, etc. |
