PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivating device capable of accelerating the growth of a plant and also aiming at the stabilization of a quality and a production amount of the plant. SOLUTION: This cultivating device for planting a raised seedling (a) to cellular burnt stones 20 housed in a cultivating box 11 and also supplying a nutritious liquid 17 to the cultivating box 11 for cultivating the plant, is equipped with a liquid draining tube 18 having a reverse U shape, one end of which is opened up in the vicinity of the inside bottom part of the cultivating box 11 and the other end is opened up in a nitritious liquid tank 14 installed at a lower place than the cultivating box 11, for draining the nitritious liquid 17 in the cultivating box 11 back to the nitritious liquid tank 14 in a syphon style when the nitritious liquid 17 in the cultivating box 11 reaches a prescribed liquid level, and a liquid supplying tube 16 for supplying the nitritious liquid to the cultivating box 11 by pumping up the nitritious liquid 17 by a pump 15 in the nitritious liquid tank 14. |
