PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a terminal device to automatically supply voltages corresponding to all kinds of portable electric parts having various operating voltages in a system which is operated by means of the portable electric parts having the data related to the operation of the system and the terminal device which is connected to the parts and supplies the operating voltages to the parts. SOLUTION: A terminal device 2 can automatically cope with the various operating voltages of portable electric parts by supplying the operating voltage supplied to portable electric parts 1 from a low voltage and reading the data in a data keeping section 11 incorporated in the parts 1 to a supply voltage switching means 21 in the device 2 through input-output means 13 and 23 and signal voltage converting section 22, and then, switching the voltage supplied to the parts 1 by means of the switching means 21. Therefore, the user of the parts 1 is not required to pay attention to the operating voltage at the time of using he parts 1 and, in addition, when the parts 1 can be operated at a low voltage, the power consumption of the parts 1 can be saved by operating the parts 1 at the low voltage. |
