<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an intermediate of chain terpene derivative for production of antiulcerous agent, etc., in high yield from easily purchasable raw material and low toxicity agent by carrying out a reaction of a specific keto compound and a phosphonium compound in the presence of a base with the coexistence of a crown ether, etc. SOLUTION: This intermediate of chain terpene derivative is obtained in high yield and high selectivity having the structure of formula III from easily purchasable raw material and the agent of low toxicity by carrying out the reaction of a keto compound having formula I (R<1> is a protected formyl group, a protected hydroxymethyl, cyano; n is 0 to 2) and the phosphonium compound of formula II (R<2> is a protecting group of hydroxyl group; R<3> a to R<3> c are each a 6 to 10C aryl; X is a halogen, a tetrahalogeno boron) in the presence of a base and coexistence of the crown ether, a polyether compound or dialkylalkanoylamide compound, etc.</p> |
