PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which makes fixing devices movable three- dimensionally with each other, has a simple and highly reliable structure and is capable of mechanically connecting and assisting the spinal bones to each other. SOLUTION: The device for mechanically connecting and assisting the spinal bones to each other has at least one fixing devices 1 having ball joints 20 fixed to the spinal bones and compressive members 9 held along the major axes of the fixing devices 1. The ball joints 20 and the compressive members 9 are housed between the two end members 3 and 18 of the fixing devices 1. At least one of these end members 13, 18 are formed by cups 3, 18 covering the ball joints 20 and the end members 13, 18 are connected to each other by connecting members 4, 5, 6, 8' arranged around the compressive members 9 and at least one cups 3, 18. The connecting members 6 are made movable on the outside surfaces of the cups 3, 18. |
