FUEL SYSTEM AND FUEL PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize fuel injection by suppressing pressure pulsation in a fuel passage and thus removing resonance therein. SOLUTION: A low-pressure fuel pump 13 and a high-pressure fuel pump 17 are interposed in a fuel passage 14 which connects a fuel tank 11 to delivery pipes 19 and 21 including respective fuel injection valves 18 and 20 arranged in an internal combustion engine, for feeding fuel to the fuel injection valves 18 and 20 upon the drive of the internal combustion engine. The high-pressure fuel pump 17 is provided at its discharge opening with resonators 26 and 27 for removing resonance in the fuel passage.
