The retractable bollard (1) for parking access reservation or the like is arranged in a shaft (4) and is subjected to a motoring mechanism (18) either for extracting it from the shaft, or for retracting it into the shaft. This bollard comprises intrinsic means for producing electric energy, in the form of photovoltaic cells (3) arranged on the upper part of the bollard. These cells (3) using solar energy, provide the charge of a battery (19) connected to the motoring means (18). The movement is remote controlled by means of a transceiver radio system.
