<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seal structure which is small and lightweight and whose reliability is high by a method wherein an O-ring which is housed in an O-ring housing groove is pressed by a flange on the side of a cable protective metal fitting and parts between a flange on the side of a unit body, a resin molding mold and the flange on the side of the cable protective metal fitting are sealed. SOLUTION: An O-ring 21 is housed in a ring-shaped O-ring housing groove 1b which is formed between the outer circumference near one edge of an insulating unit 1 and the inner face of a quadrangular flange 3a. In this case, when a bolt is tightened, the O-ring 2 is pressed by a flange 15a on the side of a cable protective metal fitting 15, and parts between the quadrangular flange 3a, the insulating unit 1 and the flange 15a on the side of the cable protective metal fitting 15 are sealed. Thereby, it is possible to obtain a seal structure, for a prefabricated joint, which eliminates a fear that its electrical characteristic is degraded when moisture or the like creeps into the boundary between the outer circumference near one edge of the insulating unit 1 and the inner face of the quadrangular flange 3a and whose reliability is high.</p> |
