PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide core which moves back and forth horizontally without causing friction with an edge part in clamping the top force of a molding die and thereby prevent the edge part from becoming deflected or deviated and also prevent a urethane foam from leaking from an area near the edge part. SOLUTION: A core Xb is set in the top force 5 of a molding die and a skin material Xa is set in the bottom force 3. Next, a slide core 21 is moved forward under this state and the outer face of an edge part 9 is positioned by causing it to come into contact with a first contact face 23 and retaining the outer face of an edge part 9. Then a raw material for a urethane foam Xc is injected into the back face of the skin material Xa. After that, the top force 5 is caused to descend and at the same time, the slide core 21 is caused to move backward to clamp the forces. Thus the edge part 9 is positioned by retaining it with the projecting part 13 of the core Xb and the outer edge of the core Xb is sandwiched between the second contact part 25 of the slide core 21 and the top force 5. Further, the raw material for the urethane foam Xc is caused to foam between the core Xb and the skin material Xa by the mold temperature of a molding die 1, so that an instrument panel X which partially has a pad part 7 with the urethane foam interposed between the core Xb and the skin material Xa is integrally molded. |
