PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a round control knob on a front panel with the centered. SOLUTION: A variable resistor 3 is clamped to a mounting metal B provisionally fixed by hooks 2a, 2b attached to a chassis 2, stepped collar 9 and screw 11. The chassis 2 is fixed to a front panel 1 by screws 6, 7 so as to close fit a large-diameter shaft part 3a of the resistor 3 into an axial through- hole 1a of the panel 1 with the metal 8 fixed to the panel 1 by screws 10. A round knob 5 is mounted on a small-diameter shaft part 3b of the resistor 3 to as to be fitted into a recess 1e of the panel 1. The recess 1e and through- hole la are formed at once and hence concretic, thereby accurately centering the knob 5 with the recess 1e of the panel 1. |
