PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a foundation shape having a quantitative basis and a foundation reinforcement work, by providing data files necessary for the design of the foundation and tables for the calculation of the construction cost in a computer, and inputting required information and operating it. SOLUTION: Files 6 composed of data files 6a-6f regarding the data of N value, earth quality, underwater level, building condition, foundation shape, foundation reinforcement condition, and other conditions and calculation tables of construction cost, are provided in a computer 1. An input image of building site information data is read out from the files 6 to indicate it on a display 4 and respective items are input by the mouse 5b and recorded. Then, data input images are read out one by one from the file 6a to input required data. And the foundation shape, the foundation reinforcement work, and the construction cost are operated on the basis of a program contained in ROM 2. Required information is added to the above result and a safe and economical foundation shape and foundation reinforcement work is decided from the overall consideration. |
