PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver of a spread spectrum signal wherein the acquiring time can be reduced and signals from a plurality of satellites can be efficiently caught. SOLUTION: A plurality of channel units CH1-CH16 for inversely spreading the spectrum of a signal transmitted by spectrum spreading are provided. A character and a phase can be individually set for each channel unit CH1-CH16. Therefore the cycle of the character is divided into a plurality of phase ranges, and search is carried out in the respective phase ranges by a plurality of channels, so that the acquiring time can be shortened. The search of a next satellite is carried out by a vacant channel unit, so that signals from a plurality of the satellites can be efficiently acquired. |
