PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel capable of making display of various kinds of photographing information, etc., with good visibility while maintaining the inside of a finder display part of a camera, etc., bright when this panel is applied to this finder display part. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal layer of the liquid crystal panel having the liquid crystal layer held between a pair of transparent substrates 10a and 10b comprises a first liquid crystal part and second liquid crystal part varying in transmittance. For example, the first liquid crystal part (liquid crystal cell C1) is constituted by sealing high polymer dispersion type liquid crystals (PDLC) 11 dispersed with high polymers into the liquid crystal layer composed of liquid crystal molecules and the second liquid crystal part (liquid crystal cell C2) is constituted by sealing nematic liquid crystals or ferroelectric liquid crystals 12 into the liquid crystal layer. One of the substrates described above is provided with a mask region (metallic thin film layer 17 or colored resin layer 30) along the boundary K between the first liquid crystal part and the second liquid crystal part. |
